Lakeside Community Committee

...was founded in 1964. Lakeside provides Metropolitan Chicago with a broad spectrum of children and family oriented programs to the following populations:

• Youth in care of the state of Illinois who have been abused or neglected;
• Pregnant or parenting teens;
• School-age children between the ages of 10-17;
• Caregivers who provide care for their relative children

Lakeside's main office, which is now located within the heart of the Greater Grand Crossing community, is highly sensitive to the community's social, economic conditions and needs. Our staff and consultants are a group of dedicated, highly trained men and women, uniquely qualified to provide viable solutions and quality services. Lakeside is proud of its strong record of broad community involvement and participation in achieving our mission.
